New Zealand-born singer Anna Rugis has been singing since childhood. She gained a broad range of professional experience through her career as a session musician in New Zealand and Great Britain and has toured the U.S. with artists such as Cat Stevens, the Kinks, and Van Morrison.

Anna Rugis has launched her new website and releases the first of this series of environmentally friendly children’s music that parents will enjoy also. The first release is Island Dreams and is a sound track of songs about rare creatures only found in New Zealand who need to be saved from extinction that can be produced as a school play or production. It is intended also for parents to purchase from the site (the shop is open) for their kids. Check out the listen page on the site to hear Anna’s new songs.
